Position : Logistics Technician I – 8 hours Monday-Friday
Job Description : As a Trex Logistics Technician, you’ll be responsible for receiving packages and distributing them to the appropriate departments.
As a member of our Logistics team, you’ll be helping us follow company safety procedures and encourage other team members to do the same.
Pay: $21.73
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck or other power equipment.
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
Participate in monthly inventory counts.
Perform housekeeping duties.
Participate in logistics-related project teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Forklift experience.
Detail-oriented.
Demonstrates multitasking skills and ability to organize.
Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and willingness to learn software
Experience in a warehouse/factory environment.
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
