Position : Assembly – 2nd/3rd shift
Job Description : Buffalo Air Handling, located at 467 Zane Snead Drive, Amherst, VA 24521 is seeking entry-level and/or experienced workers for Assembly positions to assist in all phases of construction for HVAC equipment.APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME BY THE OFFICE TO COMPLETE AN APPLICATION ANYTIME MONDAY-FRIDAY 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.Successful candidates will have experience utilizing hand tools and other powered equipment to fabricate or alter sheet metal parts. You will assist in setting up or assembling all fabricated parts and components in HVAC assembly departments, including but not limited to bases, walls, fans, coils, doors, filter frames and roof sections. Indoor construction experience working with sheet metal is a PLUS.High School diploma or equivalent are required. Candidates must be able to use a tape measure. Passing the math/measurement assessment is required for interview. Must pass background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen.Initial training will be conducted on 1st shift for approx. 2 months. Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts takes wage to $17.50 per hour.Base Hours: M-F 3:00 pm – 12:00 am (2nd shift) and 10:00 pm – 7:00 am (3rd shift).
