Handles repossessions, negative shares, and other collections transactions.Reports To: Director of Risk ManagementClassification: Non-ExemptEssential Duties Contacts delinquent accounts by phone and mail following to set schedules; takes appropriate action to bring current.Achieves goals for collections of all 30-day delinquent accounts assigned.Achieves goals for collections of all 60-day delinquent accounts assigned.Achieves goals for collections of all 90-day delinquent accounts assigned.Analyzes financial situation of delinquent borrowers; makes recommendations to repossess collateral when other arrangements to bring the loan current are unsuccessful.Informs management of trends in loan underwriting contributing to delinquent/ charged-off loans and potential underwriting problems.Maintains accurate files and reports on all collections and recovery activity.Updates and maintains credit reporting systems.Ensures that collection activity is both within credit union policy and all relevant regulations.Adheres to credit union policies and procedures; stays knowledgeable of and complies with applicable laws and regulations, including BSA/AML and OFAC.Performs other duties as assigned.Benefits: Health, Dental, LTD, Life, 401(k), vacation, sick and paid holidaysRequired experience: Two years to five years similar experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentApply at our website www.transfcu.orgEOE M/F/D/V”Work RemotelyNoJob Type: Full-timePay: $24.00 – $28.85 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:Facility practices social distancing, most staff have individual offices, Each employee provided face mask.Experience:Collections: 1 year (Preferred)Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
