Reporting to the respective shift Team Leader, you have a keen eye to identify potential problems in an electrical design and will work as part of a dynamic team of industrial electricians and electrical engineers collectively focused on continuous improvement and operational uptime.What are the day-to-day responsibilities of an Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance?Install and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) using skills to troubleshoot with communication software.Perform Electrical and PLC tasks including but not limited to the following: Calibrating, monitoring, repairing and maintaining transmitters, controllers, plant safety systems, power systems and sensors.Maintain equipment by way of planned preventive maintenance programs, keeping maintenance records per company policies as well as advanced troubleshooting of electrical/electronic equipment during shift.Provide electrical and instrumentation support to the functional area to ensure production can continue in a safe and effective manner.Install, calibrate, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical instrumentation, equipment and associated electrical/electronic controls and related devices for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installationsInstall, visually examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, transformers, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.What skills and qualifications do you need for the role of Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance?2-year degree or equivalent certification or work experience required.2-3 years’ practical experience in manufacturing or industrial environment and with automated equipment required.Proficient knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)/Automation, specifically Siemens and Endress+Hauser instrumentation;Grow and develop the team by sharing knowledge / experience.Act as a ROCKWOOL ambassador demonstrating our core values of Ambition, Integrity, Responsibility and Efficiency.What are the physical demands for an Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance?The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
