Position : Recruitment Coordinator

Job Description : We are looking for a talented Recruiting coordinator to join our team and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end. You will be responsible for attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews and managing the hiring paperwork. As a recruiting coordinator, you have thorough knowledge of HR best practices and have innovative ideas. If you have strong communication skills and are confident as a headhunter, we want to meet you. We like working with people who think ‘outside-the-box’ and who finish projects in a timely manner. Ultimately, you should be able to manage our full recruitment cycle and ensure we always meet our staff requirements.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement overall recruiting strategyConsult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectivesWrite and post job descriptions on career websites, newspapers and universities boardsSource candidates by using databases and social mediaEvaluate and screen resumes and cover lettersUse recruiting tools like tests and assignments to assess candidates’ skillsConduct phone, Skype and/or in-person interviewsProvide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managersHelp the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questionsContact new employees and prepare onboarding sessionsPrepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are metMaintain a complete record of interviews and new hiresStay up-to-date with current recruiting methodsAttend job fairs and careers eventsSkillsProven work experience as a Recruiting coordinator or recruiterExcellent communication skillsAbility to prioritize and complete projects within deadlineSolid knowledge of HR policies and best practicesHands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checksAbility to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systemsAbility to use psychometric tests and other assessment toolsFamiliarity with social media, especially LinkedInBSc degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant fieldJob Types: Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryPay: $18.00 – $24.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Flexible scheduleHealth insuranceSchedule:Day shiftWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:Anchorage, AK 99501: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:Recruiting: 1 year (Preferred)Recruiters & Staffing Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
