Job Description : We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payroll. Our ideal candidate holds a Finance degree and is familiar with accounting software packages, like Quikbooks . Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company.ResponsibilitiesRecord day to day financial transactions and complete the posting processVerify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledgerBring the books to the trial balance stagePerform partial checks of the posting processComplete tax formsEnter data, maintain records and lunch reports and financial statementsProcess accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely mannerSkillsProven bookkeeping experienceSolid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial recordsData entry skills along with a knack for numbersHands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary softwareProficiency in English and in MS OfficeCustomer service orientation and negotiation skills3-5 years experience with Quikbooks3-5 years experience with payrollActively working with multiple companies financesBS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business AdministrationPay Rate: $20-$25/hrIf this sounds like you, apply today!Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:QuickBooks: 3 years (Required)Payroll: 3 years (Required)Work Location: One location
