Job Description : Overview:

The Production Associate will track daily production, collect traceability documents, and create bills of lading. Before the start of production, and at any down times during the season, the Production Associate may be assigned other office duties, such as data entry and filing. This is a seasonal position working approximately May – August. Due to the seasonal nature of our industry, the Production Associate works approximately 12 hours per day, seven days per week during peak production seasons approximately. This position is hourly and reports to the Plant Manager and Office Manager.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities
Track Daily Production-
Gather and organize production reports from the factory.
Enter production manifest into a spreadsheet.
Record and create Bill of ladings.
Send all appropriate documents to Corporate in a timely manner.
Collect traceability documents (with exception of fish tickets)
Fish from tender to dock production (Dock Delivery)
Fish to Production
Freezer forms (Tunnel, Roe, Fillet and H&G Trace)
May assist with entering invoices into our accountant system.
May Assist with filing.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
18 + years
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Experience using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
Ability to work 12 hours per day, seven days per week, with additional hours during peak seasons.
Ability to work well independently and with others.
Ability to maintain professional composure in high stress work environment.
Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Willingness to work in an office setting in a seafood processing plant.
Ability to walk up and down a hill several times a day.
Seafood production experience preferred.
Payroll Information
Pay periods are biweekly. Our workday is defined as the calendar day, and our work week runs from Monday through Sunday. Employees are paid on the Friday following the end of the biweekly pay period. We encourage employees to sign up for direct deposit but you may elect to receive paper checks instead.
