Job Description : Traffic Scheduler Job DescriptionAlaska Central Express is currently accepting resumes for a Traffic Scheduler position. We prefer Licensed Aircraft Dispatcher but is not a requirement if you have aviation experience. Must be willing to work in a fast paced work environment and have the ability to multi-task.Traffic Scheduler Duties.Responsible directly to the Traffic Supervisor.Coordinates with Chief Pilot, Training Manager, Admin of Flt Ops, and as needed with other department managers and supervisors.Perform daily scheduling functions to include but not limited to the following:Building daily & weekly flight schedules: assign and arrange aircraft to destinations within our customer network based on aircraft configuration or capabilities.Monitor aircraft maintenance inspection status and flight time to next inspection.Flight crew notification and assignments for specific daily and next day flights. Monitor flight crew duty time and assignments to maintain regulatory compliance.Coordinate with maintenance regarding aircraft mechanical discrepancies and aircraft airworthiness status.Cargo notification for arrival aircraft and next flight scheduling.Other duties as assigned.Will discuss schedule during the interview.
