Position : Ammonia Refrigeration Technician
Job Description : Job Duties: Responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient operation of multiple freezer/cold storage plants at remote facility in Alaska. Duties including logging daily readings, monitoring plant operation and performing preventative maintenance on all freezer equipment as required. Will be expected to maintain a variety of equipment including compressors, condensers, pumps, valves and electronic controls. This person works closely with the Shop Superintendent to ensure safe and compliant operation of all freezer systems.Required skills: Knowledge and experience in operation and maintenance of Ammonia Refrigeration systems. EPA Card and RETA 1 certification required, however we are willing to assist a well-qualified applicant with certification process. Basic computer skills, ability to effectively read and understand engineering drawings and schematics are a must. Applicant must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening. TWIC card required.Position is in a remote location in Alaska.
