Be prepared to work hard, have fun, lead others and be the champion of logistics for 60 North Seafoods.Reports to CEO, Rich WheelerJob OverviewThis role will be a member of the leadership team for Sixty North Seafoods. They will oversee the operations of logistics of recording and shipping fish that comes in and out daily, which contributes to driving sustainable growth at 60 North Seafoods.Responsibilities and DutiesFile federal and state fish ticket landingsEffectively utilize Simba (software tracking system)Create shipping manifests according to customer specificationsShipping logistics for outgoing fish, incoming freight, and other travelDevelop and maintain positive relationships with custom processors, fisherman, customers, and community.QualificationsFull comprehension of office management systems and proceduresExcellent knowledge of MS OfficeProficiency in EnglishExemplary planning and time management skillsUp-to-date with advancements in office gadgets and applicationsAbility to multitask and prioritize daily workloadHigh level verbal and written communications skillsDiscretion and confidentialityCollege degreeAbility to lift 25 lbs.Compensation$17 per hour, plus time and a half after 8 hours per day and 40 hours in a week.Room/board in onsite bunkhousePriority for hours during slow times3 month review of work resultsJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: Up to $17.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftHolidaysOvertimeWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Logistics Operations Occupations: 1 year (Preferred)Microsoft Office: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
