Job Description : SeaView is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and passionate about developing and implementing human resource strategies through staffing, compensation, health and wellness benefits, training and development, succession planning and improving employee experience and retention.Equally important is providing an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a quality workforce.The Human Resources Manager is a key member of the SeaView team and provides strategic direction to the organization in support and advancement of SeaView’s mission and goals. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this position has the key responsibility of ensuring legally sound and effective personnel management practices at SeaView.The Human Resources Manager’s primary responsibilities are but not limited to:Guiding and managing the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programsRecruiting and staffingOrganizational developmentEmployment and compliance to regulatory concernsEmployee orientation, development, and trainingPolicy development and implementationEmployee relationsCompensation and benefits administrationEmployee safety, welfare, wellness, and healthSeaView is a non-profit behavioral health organization providing mental health and substance use disorder treatments. SeaView is led by a team of professionals who are passionate about access to mental health care, freedom from addiction, and building healthy families. We employ a staff of over 50 professionals, including a psychiatrist, nurses, master’s-level clinicians, social workers, case managers, behavioral health technicians, and administrative and support staff.Our mission is achieved by regularly assessing the needs of the community and providing a full continuum of care. SeaView’s services include crisis, residential, and outpatient programs, all designed to improve the lives of our families, friends and neighbors. If you need behavioral healthcare, we are here to help.Location: Seward, AKEducation/Certification: B. S. degree in business or related field preferred or minimum of five years of progressive experience in human resource positions. SHRM Certification desired.Required Knowledge: Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations. Understanding of compensation and benefits policies and programs.Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical skills, Excellent oral and written communication skills, Superior interpersonal and supervisory abilities, and Effective project management abilities.Other: TB test, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening, criminal background check, valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.SeaView offers a competitive salary/benefit structure with opportunities to gain hands-on experience across several different areas working with passionate team members in support of the mission. Benefits include employee medical/dental, retirement, and 3.6 weeks of vacation in your first year with incremental increases up to 7.2 weeks a year.$50K-$60K/year DOE to start.
