Position : CMA/Occupational Health Technician
Job Description : Capstone Employee Health is looking to hire two CMA/Occupational Health technicians to join our team in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska!
Schedule: 2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off; 12-hour shifts; 7 days a week
Travel/Lodging/Food: Provided by Employer
Location: Deadhorse Aviation Center

Summary
The Occupational Health Technician/Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of occupational health testing procedures and supporting the medical providers with their patients.
Essential Duties
Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
Comply with the regulatory agency rules and regulations to assure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Demonstrate ability to multi-task
Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to handle and implement change with minimal disruption.
Ability to perform and/or understand all technical aspects of the clinical services division to include audiograms, RMA/PFTs, FCEs, fit testing, vitals, patient triage, etc.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment.
Solid understanding of operations in the clinic as well as the field.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Current MA Certification; EMT II/III, Paramedic preferred; Current CPR/BLS; 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of EMR/EHR systems; MS Office Suite
