Position : Prep Associate – Photo Shoot

Job Description : The Patagonia Global Marketing Department is a full-service in-house agency providing marketing strategy, project management, graphic design, editorial, photographic, film, digital and print production resources. The global marketing department develops and maintains the visual identity and voice of the company. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing product for all in-studio product photo projects, under the supervision of the Studio Art Director and Ecomm Art Director.
What You’ll Do:
Photo shoot prep:
Remove unnecessary labels and clip loose threads on all new products.
Steam, iron and lint roll all clothing/Equipment to be photographed for Product Photography, On Model Photography and Video shoots per shot tags.
Break down photographed products at prep station: remove tissue, forms, foam pieces, pins, match all products to correct hanger and return to sample room. Return all supplies to each station.
Keep sample rooms clean and organized.
Responsible for keeping each station and stylist station fully supplied: pins, pin cushions, tissue, tape, etc. Communicate supplies needed for reorder to the Production Operations.
Make sure stylists daily racks at stations are kept full.
Gather samples for post team to reference for post work.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and climb a ladder.
Ability to spend long hours standing and kneeling to perform job tasks, this is a physical job and requires mobility.

Experience You Bring:
Knowledge of Patagonia products a plus.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to follow direction from Product Photography Art Director/Ecomm Art Director
Computer proficiency with experience in such programs as: Word and Outlook.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently and maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
Comfortable with team-based work structure; ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility.
Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
