Job Description : Job descriptionAs the Social Media Coordinator, you will manage our company’s social media content strategy to boost engagement and brand awareness. Your duties include developing a social media marketing plan, creating and posting new content, connecting with the community, and analyzing the success and performance of our social media marketing campaigns. This position requires extensive digital marketing experience, knowledge of a variety of social media platforms, and strong graphic design skills.Job Role and Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to include budget for social media activities and adsDefine social media KPIsPerform in-depth social media researchManage and oversee social media contentCreating social media graphics and videosCurate social media contentStay up to date with latest social media best practices, technologies, and trendsFamiliar with social media scheduling and posting toolsIdentify online influencers and engage regularly with audiencesLook for trends and keywords that are popular on social media feeds and plan content (or curation) that will use them. Monitor topics and words that matter for the company’s industry. For fast-moving networks like Twitter, this would be done daily.Find content to curate: Find outside content to share with followers.Requirements and qualifications3-5 years of experience in Digital Marketing and Social MediaMinimum of 2 years of experience in content/copy/social media writingAdept at handling and understanding various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)Strong graphic design skills and experience using Canva, and other social media best practicesExcellent communication skills both verbal and written with detail to grammar and spellingExperience with doing audience and buyer persona research and developing social media strategiesGood understanding of social media KPIsCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood organizational and time-management skillsWorks well independently with minimal supervisionMust be able to multitask with ease on a variety of client projects and prioritize tasks depending on the client’s needsThis is a Freelance position so your ability to work remotely and unsupervised is requiredNOTE: A cover letter and samples of your work are required when applying for this position.Job Types: Part-time, ContractPay: $25.00 – $27.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible scheduleProfessional development assistanceSchedule:On callWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:To keep our team and clients safe, we closed our office on March 8, 2020 and have been working remotely.
