Job Description : Axiad is looking for a motivated Shipping Clerk to join Its growing company. This is a part time position up to 20 hours per week at $45/ hour.
Axiad is a fast-growing Solution Provider focused on Cyber-Security – Specifically on the increasingly fundamental area of Identity Credential Management. Located in Santa Clara, CA.
Axiad will offer you the opportunity to touch all Industries, Fortune 500 as well as SMB customers, and acquire first-hand knowledge of both traditional “on-prem” and Cloud solutions. With the increased demand for strong authentication and Identity Management solutions, our company has seen significant growth over the past couple of years and we are looking for motivated individuals to join our team.
We are currently seeking a Shipping Clerk who can facilitate fulfilling multiple requests from various departments. The Shipping Clerk is responsible for assisting staff with procurement, Inventory control, shipping and receiving, and RMA requests. The successful candidate will effectively communicate with suppliers, vendors, and customers on products and solutions. The Shipping Clerk will work with other groups such as operations, procurement, finance, sales, support, IT, etc. to meet the needs of the company.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
Complete supporting paperwork and data entry as required
Inventory control
Maintain record of materials stored at office
Supply chain management
Helps customer solve their RMA, logistics, shipping and fulfillment needs
Handles, tracks, and documents shipments
Document and maintain processes in our knowledge base
Builds relationship with suppliers
Maintain shipping price calculator for quotes
Procurement of IT related hardware
Helps with tasks in the office as needed
Microsoft Office 365
Previous experience with logistics
