Tekberry, a national staffing agency, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Data Entry Clerk to maintain records and update account information.
This is a Remote position, but we prefer the applicant to be located in the San Francisco Bay Area for occasional local in-person meetings.
To be successful as a Data Entry Clerk, you should be familiar with a variety of software such as Excel, Outlook and related business applications. You should also have the ability to understand the relationship between different types of data and the capability to scrutinize that data for possible errors. Strong typing skills and an attention to detail are a must.
Accounting Supervisor Responsibilities:
Process data entry for payroll.
Utilize commercial and proprietary software to set up new hires in the system.
Assist staff members in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.
Follow up on missing or incomplete data.
Provide regular updates to management regarding the different processes that you work on.
Accounting Supervisor Requirements:
Proven experience working with data entry.
Prior experience with payroll or accounts receivable/payable are a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows. Ability to navigate and basic troubleshooting.
Excellent attention to detail. Identify and follow up on errors or incomplete data.
Effective communication skills.
