VENUE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT – Coachella Valley Music and Arts and Stagecoach Country Festivals 2022

Venue Operations
SUMMARY
Venue Operations is responsible for ensuring the success of the build, “day of show” operations, and the load-out of event. The ability to perform but not limited to the technical and physical aspects related to show production.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with the load-in and load-out of departments and vendors.
Assist in placement, adjustment and operation of festival equipment.
Receive, deploy and retrieve bike racks.
Assist with light vendors on project builds.
Use various hand and power tools and material handling equipment
Assist with emergency and unscheduled repairs.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
Interact in a professional manner when dealing with other staff, clients, guests, and supervisors
Maintain a clean work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent verbal and directional communication skills
Excellent knowledge of web and mobile technologies
Ability to operate equipment such as forklift, boom lift, scissor lift (certification required) in addition to using power and hand tools
Position requires constant walking and lifting up to 75lbs
PREFERENCES
Previous festival experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments
Must be able to work in drastic temperature climates
Must be willing to work flexible hours
