Position : Construction Administrative Assistant
Job Description : Glass and glazing company seeking an Accounting/Office Assistant. We are looking for a long-term, highly-motivated, detail-oriented and extremely organized person to join our team.Duties and Responsibilities:Process field payroll in an accurate and timely manner.Maintain employee’s files and records.Process Certified Payroll reports, union fringe benefit, and workers comp reportsProcess purchase orders in an accurate and timely manner.Input invoices into Sage 300 Construction accounting software.Prepare open invoices report and print checks for approved invoices.Prepare and maintain AR aging and contact customers for payment status.Track and collect the appropriate supplier lien releases.Assists with monthly AIA billings.Maintain and organize paperless filing by scanning documents into the accounting system.Assist with month end closing.Perform any additional duties as needed.Qualifications:Construction industry knowledge and experience preferred.Accounting and Sage 300 Construction a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to multi-task.Highly organized with attention to detail.Benefits Offered:Paid Time OffMedical, Dental and Vision401KFun and casual work environmentJob Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Construction Office: 3 years (Required)Work Location: One location
