Job Description : Shop Crew Member Kaimana Shave IceAbout us Here at Kaimana Shave Ice we are a family-run shave ice shop started in 2018 with the goal of serving an all-natural, premium take on the timeless North Shore shave ice concept.Located in our hometown of Haleiwa, HI, we are focused on creating a fun, positive, and work-life balanced culture for our employees with the opportunity to grow into seasoned managers and operators as the company grows alongside.The role A Shop Crew Member is an entry-level part-time employee who will work in the shop initially receiving orders from customers and managing the cash register, then graduating on to creating the shave ice product itself. This is a crucial role for our organization’s success and we are looking for applicants with a positive attitude, a sense for hospitality and interest in the food service industry. Those who do well can expect to be promoted to shop manager and potentially regional managers as the company grows. We are flexible on days worked and are happy to find the right schedule to fit your work-life balance.Key responsibilities Receiving customer orders and managing the cash registerOperating the shave ice machine to create our shave ice productCleaning and maintenance of the shop and cleaning glasswareThinking on your feet to solve any issues or questions a customer may haveThinking creatively to help us improve our workflows and customer experienceOpening the shop and closing up at the end of each workdayWorking well alongside other co-workersJob details Part-time (either 3 or 4 days a week including either Saturday or Sunday, from11:45am to 4:30-5pm).
