Job Description : POSITION: GAME DAY OPERATIONS (*Remote position)
ORGANIZATION INFORMATION
Tiny Troops Soccer is a minority woman and military family-owned business that has employed over 150+ military spouses, dependents, and civilians around the world. Our mission is to serve military kids and their friends all while teaching the great game of soccer to the youngest generation of players, ages 2-5 years old. We build happy and confident kids, developmentally ready soccer players, and a community for all.
POSITION INFORMATION
Our program operates multiple sessions at over 30+ locations across the United States on Saturdays, and occasionally Sunday afternoons. The purpose of this position is to assist with session cancellation communication. Duties regularly performed include the following:
Communication with Coaches regarding weather or illness cancellations via text or email
Communication with Parents via email, FB messenger on business page, and League Apps responding to parent comments and questions
Review weather app and accurately read/interpret current weather to see if cancellation is warranted
Record keeping with Google Sheets and Google Doc
Update Master Schedule with make-up session date
Update On Call Tracker with cancellation/make-up information
Notify Administrative Assistant of any merchandise issues
QUALIFICATIONS
Resident of the United States of America (will need to show documented proof upon receiving position offer)
Consistent Saturday morning availability
Ability to communicate in a professional and grammatically correct manner
Detail oriented, and reliable team player
Well-rounded personality capable of maneuvering through quick timeline turnarounds with firm yet friendly and engaging disposition
Experience working in customer service preferred
Basic proficiency in Google Doc and Sheets preferred
PAY
This is salaried position that pays $10/hr.
SCHEDULE
Saturday mornings are required for this position. Hours will range from 15-20 per month depending on the amount of locations offering sessions and their respective times. The schedule will be confirmed at the beginning of each month with the Director of Operations, and will provide tentative make-up days to be on call if utilized.
Example schedule:
Thursday evening TBD
Saturday 7am – 12:45pm PST
Sunday 11:30am PST – TBD. *Sundays are reserved for make-up sessions due to coach emergency or inclement weather. Sometimes all sessions run this day or a 1-2 sessions only.
