Description:
Assists with the coordination and communication on various aspects of special events on property. Assists with special events operations, performs maintenance on event venues and equipment and completes paperwork and contracting. Puts up signage, performs maintenance and cleaning of sites and assists with set up of space prior to event. Greets event customers at start of event, resolves any issues related to the venue or event space, and remains on call for any problems that may arise during the event. Oversees break down of event spaces at the end of the event.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic clerical and computer skills required. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with guests. Problem solving skills to work independently and resolve any problems related to event or venue spaces. Must be able to perform physical work in an outdoor environment. Must be able to consistently lift and carry 50 pounds. 3+ years Driver’s license with good driving record required. Basic handyman/building maintenance skills preferred.
Schedule:
Full Time. Open availability required. Must be available to work weekends, evenings and holidays, as many events occur during weekend and evening/night time hours.
