Job Description : We are a fast-growing medical device company looking for an experienced Director of Operations to organize and oversee the daily operations of our company. You will be the one to ensure that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing its procedures and ensuring our product’s final release. The area of responsibility for this role requires thorough knowledge of various company processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan, manage staff, and execute on quality compliances. He/She must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business. The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.ResponsibilitiesLiaise with President to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goalsDevelop, implement, and monitor day-to-day technical operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for Company’s key milestones.Build and maintain relationships with all department leads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of the operation to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.Identify and implement process improvements that will maximize output, minimize costs, and coordinate efforts across functional groups.Develop and uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring all rules and regulations followed, and be a champion for supply chain quality issues.Manage vendors, suppliers, and other manufacturers to ensure related project deliverables are metCreate performance goals and monitor process quarterly for the Department, and lead the implementation for performance goals with the other department leads.Establish a training program and ensure that each employee has a development planDevelop, review, and communicate duties for manufacturing, purchasing, customer service, shipping, packaging, receiving and inventory management.Responsible for the facility management and lead planning for Company expansions.Responsible for inventory including but not limited to receiving in and out, reworks,repairs, quarterly manual inventory counts, and supporting documentation.SkillsProven experience as Director of Operations or equivalent position with at least 15-20 years of experience in the medical device field;Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or biomedical engineering preferred.Knowledge of GMP and ISO 13485:2016 is essential.Superior knowledge of multiple business functions and principles, including quality control, budgeting, customer service, production, and employee management.Possess business acumen and employ it toward the operation flow.Proven ability to lead, plan and direct technical processes for maximum efficiencyAbility to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed,efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands.Class I and Class II medical device experience required.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to collaborate well with team members in a fast-paced environment.Must have a “can do” attitude and be comfortable working in a small, flexible, and dynamic team.Ability to understand record keeping and be accurate.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offProfessional development assistanceRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payWillingness to travel:25% (Preferred)Work Location: One location
