Department: Wiki
Reports To: Wiki Manager
Status: Non-Exempt
1. Job Purpose/Objective
To greet, welcome, direct, assist and provide information to the public on the schedule and types of bus services that are available. Work closely with dispatchers and drivers to provide exceptional customer service to the public.
2. Essential Job Functions
Incumbent may perform any or all of the following:
Meet and welcome the public at the airport.
Deliver high level of customer service including understanding the different products and services offered and handling of customer complaints by following proper procedures in resolving customer problems.
Maintain professional and polite communication with customers and ensure polite and efficient service. to solve customer problem.
Provide information to the public on the schedule and types of bus service available and other services and facilities (to include location) available in the Airport Complex.
Comply with the daily duties assigned by the dispatcher.
Give direction and information to guests regarding their baggage claims and gate assignments.
Assist in the passenger loading and unloading of bus trams.
Assist the public to proper bus loading & unloading area.
Provide direct assistance to the mobility impaired or offer guidance of the availability of assistance and / or facilities, and in loading or unloading of guest on and off the Handi-Van as needed.
Assist drivers in inspection of units after passengers are discharged.
Report lost and found items to the dispatcher and/or security, and when possible restore items to passengers.
Surrender unclaimed lost and found items to Airport Security.
Operate 11-passenger van during emergencies or as directed.
Adhere to pre- and post- driving requirements.
Prior to driving the Service Agent must complete ad submit a Damage Survey Sheet on the assigned vehicle
Comply with post-accident procedures.
Assume additional related responsibilities as assigned
3. Essential Skills (Minimum qualifications individual must possess when entering position) – i.e. skillsets, KPI’s education, certifications, etc.
High School diploma or equivalent
Experience in the travel and transportation industry preferred
Customer service
Valid driver’s license with clean traffic abstract
Must be able to obtain an AOA Badge and CBP1 Security Clearance
Must obtain an Airport Motor Vehicle Operator’s Permit (RAMP License)
Ability to perform simple math functions
Must be able to work flexible shifts, shifts are between the hours of 4:00am – 12:00am
Requires strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to speak before groups; conducting business meetings, executing high profile presentations
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of force and occasionally push up to 200 pounds of force.
May require travel to various locations and sites
4. Working Conditions/Physical Demands
Position requires working under deadlines or pressure
Medium work- must be able to lift 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Push up to 200 pounds of force
Standing for a long period of time
Frequently walking, stooping, bending, lifting and reaching
Hearing -being able to receive detailed information through oral communication
Visual acuity to operate motor vehicles
Subject to both internal and external environmental conditions
