Position : Project Coordinator – Remote
Job Description : Overview
The Project Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining the tactical project relationship between Fire Door Solutions and clients by addressing client needs through direct contact and the utilization of company resources during a specific sequence of projects that could include the entire suite of FDS services. This person acts as the key company single-point-of-contact for the client and maintains a highly responsive service orientation in all client interactions.
This person will also be actively involved in supporting the delivery of all stages of a series of client-specific FDS projects. This will include advanced communication with field team members and ensuring Teamwork is updated with all relevant project information as the projects progress. With its project coordination and oversight priority, this person will also be responsible for day-to-day scheduling on Teamwork and coordination of projects to achieve timely and cost-effective results.
Role and Responsibilities
Communicate and meet all project milestones, ensuring timely execution of projects according to plan.
Collaborate with Sales and Operations Management in discussions to outline the scope of work including expectations and specifications.
Proactively identify risks and issues and work to develop creative, client-centric, and cost-effective solutions.
Provide guidance and coordination with multiple departments around approaches, solutions, and best practices.
Interact professionally using excellent communication skills with a diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts.
Use FDS project management tools and create project management deliverables such as project plan, meeting agendas/minutes, issues and action items.
Document specific project issues and resolutions for cumulative lessons learned.
Assist in the development, documentation and communication of policies and standards.
Assist in project completion assessment with total Operations team and implement any necessary corrective actions.
Work with other Project Managers to share resources where individuals and/or teams are under-utilized.
Job Requirements
Experience with database management and project management.
Professional presentation and verbal and written communication/instruction skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization clients and staff.
Ability to work under pressure and perform multifaceted projects in conjunction with daily activities.
Strategic and critical thinking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendar.
Ability to learn other software systems used throughout the company.
Ability to work outside of normal business hours as needed.
Team player with a positive personality with a high level of confidentiality.
Work independently and within a team on special, nonrecurring and/or ongoing projects.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Efficient with smartphones, tablets, computers, & Microsoft Office for reporting daily progress to Operations Support team.
Must be able to attend job trainings as required.
Must be able to work overtime as required.
Additional Requirements
Must be 21 years of age
Must have valid driver license
Must pass drug screen, criminal background check and driver’s license check
