With close to 100 employees already on board, we are currently seeking a Underwriting Trainee to Underwrite new/renewal business – Personal Lines Auto & Homeowners.What You’ll DoGather information on potential customers and analyze whether he/she should receive insurance based upon our guidelinesYou’ll analyze factors based on property and demographic datapoints to help determine a customer base that will help make the company profitableReview policies to determine if we want to offer a renewalHelp determine how to make a defined territory profitable based upon different financial metricsQualificationsNew Grads;BA/BS requiredDesire to learn to underwriteStrong judgment and analytical skillsCan work diligently independentlyAdvanced computer skillsAbility to build strong relationshipsCan effectively communicate both written and orallyAptitude for Problem-Solving.Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insuranceSchedule:10 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Dallas, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Work Location: One location
