The HR Specialist will ensure that assigned HR & Benefit related administrative functions are processed timely and accurately to remain compliant with all government agencies while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Provide exceptional customer service to all PEO clients and work site employees . This role supports Employer Flexible’s mission by being a business advocate through identification of compliance issues arising from all HR and Benefit functions and bringing them to the attention of the Employee Care Manager for further guidance and consulting.
Job Duties:
HR Support – FMLA/LOA Process, Unemployment Claims, FLSA Compliance
Benefit Administration – Claims Management, Issue/Claim Resolution, Qualifying Life Events, Compliance Support, Open Enrollment Support, Assist Employees with benefit enrollment
HR & Benefit Processing – Maintain HRIS, Processing of New Hires, Pre-Employment Screening and Termination paperwork, Provide temporary benefit ID cards and eligibility information, Process National Medical Support Orders, COBRA Support
Training – Master all systems in order to assist clients and train clients.
Provide excellent customer service via phone and email, to all clients and worksite employees.
Requirements:
Ability to problem solve & prioritize tasks.
Identify and suggest ways to improve efficiency of processes.
Ability to research and ask questions to meet compliance standards.
Ability to clearly communicate with client on best practice guidance.
Use discretion when handling sensitive information.
Interact with clients, worksite employees, and internal staff with professionalism.
Work in a fast-paced and fast changing environment.
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
College Degree preferred
2+ years of Human Resources & Benefit experience, may be considered in lieu of college degree
PEO experience preferred
PHR or SHRM-CP Certification preferred, but not required
