Job Description : Overview:

Responsibilities:

The Aircraft Records Imaging & Research Team is responsible to ensure documents are maintained with the highest integrity and search functionality in support of 14CFR 121.380. Researches document retrieval, audit functions of the system vs data integrity, and ad hoc projects for document gathering.
WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.
Scans, indexes, verifies extraneous imaging of SA-M forms, W&B packages, etc.
Disburses Records mail to appropriate Teams where necessary at the stations.
Performs imaging tasks (scanning/indexing/verifying) of heavy vendor packages, AEMP, extraneous documents for work performed outside of Southwest.
Ensures disposal of all hard copy documents are within Company guidelines.
Performs audit tasks for pink logbooks, logpage entry by AMT, B/C tags for identified criteria.
Maintains vendor database and location of files (in-house work orders, MRO location, Airvault web)
Assists in library functions, such as auditing and managing various Records retention locations.
Assists with peer training per Aircraft Records guidelines.
Assists with special projects or research as designated by Specialist, Team Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.

6 months knowledge and experience in the use of an integrated aircraft maintenance data collection and tracking system
Preferred
Preferred 6 months within the Aviation Industry preferably with a 14 CFR 121 Air Carrier or Aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturer, MRO or Vendor
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to use a computer with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Ability to bend, stand, and sit for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to travel long hallways in large buildings and in between campus buildings
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES/WORK STYLE:
Must possess strong task organization skills.
Maintain high quality output for data entry and keying document indexing.
Must be highly organized, detail oriented.
Must work effectively under demanding time constraints, completing assignments and projects with accuracy.
Must be able to utilize workflow tools such as Quickbase, Salesforce, Documentum, AirVault or similar workflow tools.
Ability to effectively and appropriately interact/communicate with peers.
Able to display flexibility to shift changes periodically.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by start date to comply with Executive Order 14042, which requires employees of federal contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
