Job Description : Dallas managed IT service provider is looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist to join our growing team. Must have strong troubleshooting skills, an extraordinary passion for customer service excellence and everything technical!This position will first focus on providing technical support to our clients, however, you will be introduced to more as your ability grows.Candidates with prior MSP experience will have priority over those without MSP experience. Please also note, this is an IN OFFICE position. While we do offer the occasional “work from home” day, the majority of your time will be spent in the office. QUALITIES REQUIRED: A passion for helping non-technical end-users.A strong willingness to learn, improve and take feedback from the team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Keeps end users, associates and management updated all the time.Excellent time management, and multitasking skills.Attention to detail and quality of work.Adeptness at utilizing resources and finding solutions.Self motivated/self starter with the ability to work well with others and/or alone.Reliable and dependable.SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS: Excellent troubleshooting knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 / Mac OS X / iOSAdministration / Setup of Microsoft Office 365 Google AppsWorking knowledge of Active Directory, Domains, & Group PoliciesAnti-Virus, Anti-Spam, and Anti-Malware/spyware solutionsAbility to configure network printersBasic understanding or ability to setup routers / switches and wireless access points.Experience with a help desk ticketing systemExperience with RMM software is a bonusMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREDOne year experience in a Help Desk — troubleshooting, maintaining and installing the technologies listed above.Experience with VoIP is not required, but a plus!Laid back, small company – looking to add a new and long term member to our growing team!
