The University of Texas Permian Basin’s Information Technology Services (ITS) Office welcomes applicants for the position of IT Delivery Coordinator.
REPORTS TO: Vice President Information Technology and Analytics
SALARY RANGE: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00, Depending upon qualifications.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The IT Delivery Coordinator assists in providing effective management of projects within the University system by helping to coordinate activity on projects as assigned. Train Staff and Faculty on Apple products, current software, and ways to improve software productivity throughout their day. Develop and maintain IT Service support policies, guidelines, and standards, and assist with dissemination of this information by various means including face-to-face interactions, published guidelines, and establishing an IT Policy Repository. Maintain training documentation and knowledgebase articles for IT Staff and Faculty.
SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES:

1. Facilitates the successful completion of all University IT projects by compiling appropriate and necessary documentation regarding the projects.
2. Assist in the collection and analysis of data needed for short-, mid-, and long-term planning for facilities, capital projects, and infrastructure to meet campus program and growth requirements.
3. Manages and leads project team resources and vendor resources through all steps of assigned projects to keep projects on schedule and on scope.
4. Assist in the identification of problems, trends, training issues and makes recommendations.
5. Development and maintenance of IT Service support policies, guidelines, and standards
6. Train Faculty and Staff on current software and ways to improve software productivity throughout their day.
7. Maintain training documentation and knowledgebase articles for IT Staff and Faculty.
8. Develops Desktop Support training material including but not limited to Apple products, Windows, all O365 applications.
9. Continues to improve the knowledge base by attending courses and conferences to acquire additional skills and certifications.

SCHEDULE:
This is an exempt 12-month position expected to work Monday through Friday. As an exempt employee, the schedule may vary based on the number of hours needed to meet job responsibilities. The individual holding the position may need to be available early morning, evening, and weekends depending on the needs of the office.

1. Employment is subject to an introductory period to monitor employee performance. Once hired, the prospective employee must present documentation within three (3) days of the hire date to establish their identity and employment eligibility as required by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Employees must be able and willing to travel and perform duties away from campus as necessary and must be able to operate a licensed motor vehicle, have access to a dependable motor vehicle, and possess a valid state driver’s license. Must have and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record.

Required Qualifications
REQUIREMENT QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Fifteen (15) plus years of relevant experience that is a proper substitute for the bachelor’s degree may be considered.
3. Two (2) years of relevant experience. Relevant education that is a proper substitute for the two-year experience may be considered.

4. Communicate technical matters to users with varying experience levels.
5. Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Have strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills with attention to detail.
7. Work effectively, to successfully meet deadlines, and to handle multiple activities and projects simultaneously.
8. This individual should adapt well to change and work independently as well as within a team while managing multiple projects simultaneously with close attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High technical skill is highly preferred and important for applicants to have.
2. Support of Apple products.
3. Good writing and oral skills.
4. Project Management, familiarity, and understanding of PMBOK preferred.
Physical Demands
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical strength/endurance to enable him/her to perform/participate in the following activities:
1. Physically able to lift various materials up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.
2. Physically able to bend, crouch, and reach continuously.
3. Physically able to remain seated, frequently to continuously.
4. Physically able to remain standing up to 15% of the time.
5. Possesses dexterity abilities required to perform typing, operate a computer and other office equipment, perform filing, and related job responsibilities.
6. Extensive computer keyboard work involving the extensive wrist and hand movement.
