The Temporary Nurse Aide will prepare you to provide resident care that could include helping residents with bathing, dressing, feeding, restorative care, and more. The exact roles and responsibilities will be determined by the facility.
You will need to register and create an account using your name and e-mail. Once you have created your account, you may complete the course on your own time, stopping as needed, and then rejoining the class wherever you left off.

This 8-hour online training, in combination with the on-site training you will get at the facility where you are hired, will prepare you to work as a Temporary Nurse Aide, a temporary position intended to address the current state of emergency.
Once you have completed all of the modules, you must take and pass the exam. You will then receive a certificate of completion that you can print and provide to the facility.
Completion of this training, is intended to prepare you to provide aspects of resident care that includes:
Activities of Daily Living
Bathing
Oral Care
Grooming – Shaving and Nail Care
Dressing and Undressing
Infection Control and Prevention
Dementia management
Resident Abuse Prevention
Positioning, Moving, and Restorative Care
Nutrition and Elimination
Comfort Care and End of Life Care
