We are in need of Venue Hosts that are skilled in delegating, organization and communication to ensure our events meet the expectations of our clients. We are a wedding/event venue located 25 miles south of Dallas and host well over 150 events a year.We have amazing weddings booked and need YOU to take care of the final steps towards Event Days! The ideal candidate for this position would have excellent organization and time management as they are responsible for the weeks of preparing up until an event and the logistics onsite on the day of the event. This role is 50% virtual so management of time away from the office is very important as well as access to a computer and phone. The remaining 50% of this position is being the lead during the event or wedding and therefore being able to confidently take charge while displaying world-class customer service simultaneously is important. This individual must be experienced and comfortable with making positive connections and great customer service skills as we have strong relationships with our clients leading up to their events. This candidate must have notable success in digital platforms, time management, leadership and internal confidence. The successful candidate will have a big personality and a passionate heart for serving our clients and creating a huge presence in the minds of Dallas area brides!The duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:-Consultation meetings with sales representatives, clients, wedding coordinator etc.-Plan the scope of event day logistics as it pertains to the Dallas Oasis staff-Venue walkthrough meetings with clients and vendors-Expert on property details-Record keeping of all contracts, insurances and documents collected-Build digital floor plans, track information and details online using virtual platforms.-Monitor wedding/event activities to ensure the couple is enjoying the experience.-Deal with any emergencies that come up involving the venue and our team-Communicating with vendors the rules, vendor guidelines, schedules and insurances.-Managing and delegating event day staff-Event Day lasting up to 20hrs must be able to be on foot and present for extended amounts of time. (breaks are incorporated)Requirements:-Must be local to the Dallas, TX area- Access to their own computer and phone.Preferred:-Customer Service/Management background-Event Coordination-Event/Wedding Industry ExperienceJob Overview: As a Venue Host you will be responsible for overseeing Event Days from as it pertains to the Dallas Oasis and our staff and operations. This role also connects with the Bride & Groom as well as their representatives in the weeks leading up to the event to ensure we are prepared for them.
