Job Description : As a Communication Consultant, you will be responsible for developing, updating, reviewing, reformatting, approving, publishing, analyzing, proofreading, validating, editing and overall management of CVS Health PBM Operations departmental documentation that includes, but is not limited to, Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, Job Aids, Reference Tables, Talk Tracks and Announcements. The Communications Consultant delivers value added enhancements and solutions to improve a document’s “ease of use” which includes formatting, hyperlinks to relevant information, content organization, if/then decision tables, etc.

Other duties of the Communication Consultant include:

Ensuring that documentation meets organizational, compliance and quality requirements relative to HIPAA, terminology, disclaimers, and formatting

Effectively leading and collaborating via meetings, Outlook invites, conference calls and WebEx Meetings with department leaders and subject matter experts to capture requirements and translate processes into work instructions. They will also email meeting agendas, captures minutes and attendance as appropriate
Discovering unstated needs with effective probing questions, while establishing a network of department and business contacts and resources that can deliver answers and solutions. Identifies impacts to other business areas and work streams and coordinates to ensure cross-functional continuity of information, practices, and procedures

Responding promptly to business partner and team emails, calls and instant messages

Delivering on action items and take-aways with prompt publishing of completed and approved documentation

Delivering superior organization
Working from a monthly inventory report of all documents to ensure all documentation is reviewed and revised in accordance with our compliance requirements and that all information remains active and available for department users, while ensuring business partners are afforded ample time to review and revise documents prior to expiration

Updating and publishing documents in our Knowledge Management Solution as needed, as well as publishing policies and procedures to our policy portal

This position is a work from home role. The standard workweek for this role is Monday-Friday, during the 6am to 6pm local time range.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of professional writing experience

COVID Requirements
