Corporate management offices are located in Warrenton, VA and Austin, TX.In each of our locations, we provide fulfillment, delivery, and installation services of appliances, furniture, and home furnishings for our established retail partners. With multiple clients and sites nationally, we are looking for dynamic leaders who are seeking professional challenges with the potential to establish and grow their careers long term with Diakon.The Director of Operations is responsible for: Directing operations in assigned client division, or assigned territoryMitigating and monitoring risks associated with day-to-day operations by enforcing company safety and compliance standardsProviding solutions for clients through operational excellenceMonthly and Quarterly client business reviewsHolding locations accountable for meeting client KPI’sP&L responsibility for the territory (monthly reviews with executives)Developing annual budgets for your territoryConducting performance reviewsMentoring and development of quality compliance managers, area managers, location managers and supervisors assignedAdherence to and enforcement of all operational policiesRecruitment and hiring of company managementMaintain high standards of operational metrics at each unitRecruitment and retention of Independent Contractors at each locationPreferred Qualifications / RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experiencePrior experience in management and/or logisticsComputer proficiencyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong leadership and planning abilityMust possess strong interpersonal skillsMust have the ability to prioritize workload and manage time remotelyAdditional Qualifications: Identifies and resolves problems.
