Job Description : We are Andrews Orthodontics, the BEST orthodontic team in the Brazos Valley. We love what we do, and we have an amazing team that works hard to deliver the ultimate patient experience. We are a dynamic, exciting, fast-paced, family-oriented orthodontic practice. We pride ourselves on treating our patients like family and providing the highest level of customer service and care. We are growing very quickly and need a couple new faces to join our team.Job Description: Our front desk receptionist is responsible for greeting patients or parents when they come in for appointments, answering phones, responding to text messages, checking patients in and out, and managing correspondence for referring doctors. Additionally, they will assist in creating and posting engaging social media content and will be responsible for maintaining excellent patient relations. This position works closely with the Benefits Coordinator and Financial Coordinator to help verify insurance benefits and discuss payment arrangements.Scheduling Coordinator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Answer the phones and respond to all other forms of correspondence from patients, families, dental offices, and vendors in a friendly and professional mannerOversee the schedule template to ensure appropriate patient flow is maintainedPrepare referral letters and ensure they are sent to appropriate facilities in a timely mannerMonitor and track analytics to ensure key metrics continue to be metTrain all appropriate staff on proper scheduling guidelinesLearn and maintain a strong knowledge of insurance benefits and payment processingOther duties as assigned by the Director of OperationsScheduling Coordinator Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred4 years of experience in customer service industry requiredFamiliarity in healthcare or dental office preferredExcellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities, both orally and in writingImpressive ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment with little supervision.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational skillsJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Employee discountPaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payApplication Question(s):Why are you interested in applying to this position?Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
