Position : Communications Associate Representative

Description:Develops, plans, and conducts public relations and goodwill programs to improve and support company business objectives with the public, industry, stockholders, and/or employees. Plans, prepares, writes and disseminates information utilizing print and broadcast media; magazines, speeches, scripts, intranet and Internet website. Submits photographs; assigns and/or approves artwork. May represent the company at press conferences, briefings and presentations on company issues. May participate and support advertising campaigns, and/or edit material for organization publications. May supervise work of outside consultants.
This communicator will support the Aeronautics Communications team with internal and external communications, as assigned.
Successful candidate will be familiar with a variety of communications mediums.
The individual will write articles and feature stories for internal and external audiences.
The communicator will support community relations by supporting events and promotion of the activities.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Communication or Public Relations.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in U.S. as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
Experience writing new articles and/or stories.
Experience and familiarity with AP Style.
Experience collaborating in a team environment.
Experience in creating communications plans.
Experience in project management and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience writing articles and feature stories for internal and external audiences.
Strong collaborator and ability to lead projects.
Experience leading events and promotion of the activities.
