Job Description : Ability to leverage tools, methods, practices, and capabilities to achieve successful, sustained results. They will have a strong orientation toward action, and an intellectual and practitioner curiosity to explore the “what ifs” by conducting and assessing experiments. They have already skilled themselves on advanced levels of agility and Scrum, recognizing the capability goes well beyond the tools and guides.Agile Team Coach Duties and ResponsibilitiesAct as a Change Agent in process and Agile Transformation Lead for teams; works with the Enterprise within the context of specific coaching engagements to support Transformation goals.Provide input into and help execute the Transformation Roadmap and Backlog.Provide input into the Enterprise Agile Standards of Practice and the Agile Playbook.Help to develop, maintain, and continuously improve common Agile methods, practices, capabilities, policies, and procedures for an Agile way of working at a team and team-of-teams level.Assist in the formation of teams and team-of-teams; assist in the delivery of training to ensure all key roles understand the Agile Values and Principles as well as the Scrum Framework (Values, Roles, Events, and Artifacts).Work with teams to institute, practice, and adopt Scrum, Kanban, and other Agile capabilities, methods, and practices.Assess the health and agility of Scrum Masters, Product Owners, teams, and team-of-teams to help identify areas for further improvement and support them on their Agile journey.Coach Scrum Masters in improving the way in which they serve the team and Product Owner; provide additional coaching to Product Owners and teams in growing and developing their use and application of Agile and Scrum.Create and encourage an ongoing and self-perpetuating understanding of Agile frameworks, capabilities, practices, and methods.Ensure clear communication between and in teams, encouraging self-organization, self-management, and information sharing.Work with teams to ensure the appropriate tools are being leveraged and Enterprise practices are being followed to enable consistency, transparency, and metrics where needed.Identify and articulate team-level impediments that need to be addressed by the Agile Center of Excellence; assist in the resolution of those impediments.Work with a cohort of Enterprise and Team Agile Coaches.Support Communities of Practice (CoPs) as they relate to Agile methods, practices, and capabilities.Participate in routine Executive-level reporting on Transformation activities and Agile maturity of teams, departments, and the Enterprise.Agile Team Coach Experience, Qualifications, and SkillsBachelor’s Degree OR 4 years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.Advanced Scrum Master certification required, i.e., PSMII, PSMIII, A-CSM, CSP-SM (preferred)Scaled Agile certification preferred, i.e., SPC, CLB, CLP, CSaSP (preferred)Agile Coaching certification preferred, i.e., ICP-ACC, RAC, CTC (preferred)Agile Leadership certification preferred, i.e., CAL-E or CAL-T (preferred)6+ years of experience in performing in multiple Agile roles, including 2 years of experience as an Agile Coach (not a Scrum Master).Expert understanding of Agile, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile frameworks.Leads through Servant Leadership.Advanced understanding of Extreme Programming (XP) Engineering Best Practices, as it relates to team adoption to increase Agile maturity.Expert in-person and remote coaching skills; strong knowledge of several coaching techniques and approaches.Expert in-person and remote facilitation skills.Strong knowledge of Agile Lifecycle Management tools, e.g., Jira.Strong knowledge of collaboration tools, e.g., Confluence, Trello, Miro, Mural, etc.Job Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: $68.00 – $70.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Irving, TX 93103: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Scrum: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:PMP (Preferred)Work Location: One location
