Job Description : We are seeking an HR Assistant to join our Rexel USA team in Carrollton, TX!Summary/ObjectiveThe HR Assistant is responsible for supporting and facilitating the recruitment process by working with hiring manager to ensure we are proactive with our recruitment practices and compliant with our process requirements.What You’ll DoProvides recruiting administrative support to the region leaders/hiring managers.Engages with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.Creates new requisitions upon receipt of job requisition requests. Internally and externally posts approved requisitions to job boards and state agency sites.Manages posting of requisitions for agreed upon posting time frames and applicant flow.Provides information on our company and job opportunities to potential applicants.Screens and refers all qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills.Ensures interviewers are following a compliant interview process to ensure all candidates are treated fairly and equitably.Coordinates, with the centralized TA team, the initiation of the candidate background check and drug screening process and, when necessary, the pre-adverse action process, documents results, and communication to stakeholders.Partners with Payroll/Centralized TA team to ensure new hire records are created in HRIS system, including entry of start date, personal, organizational, job and compensation information. Confirm records for data quality and integrity.Ensures completion of the new hire onboarding process in partnership with various HR, IT, Finance and other key stakeholders, ensuring equipment, tools, and access are ready for new hire on Day 1.Trains new managers in assigned regions on hiring process and various recruiting systems.Research, and plan local events to support hiring managers’ recruiting efforts. Track and maintain documentation for all associated local recruiting activities. This includes ordering, preparing, and shipping recruitment materials and promotional items to the requesting branches.Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring and statistics.Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.Provide support to the Regional HR Director on various HR processes/projects.Foster and maintain successful, productive working relationships with our regional management team.Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.CompetenciesCommunicationRelationship ManagementPersonal IntegrityCritical EvaluationConsultationBusiness AcumenSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment.
