Job Description : The ideal candidate will be able to:Manage multiple crewsLead crews in the installation of underground utilities, water mains, fire mains, sewer mains and storm drainsPerform and train the essential job functions for any position on the pipe crewAbility and willingness to travel to multiple jobsites, mostly located in far northern cities surrounding Dallas/Fort WorthIdentify, report and correct hazardsPlan daily work from the project’s schedule and execute accordinglyPossess knowledge and understanding of production schedulesHave knowledge of proper sequence of activities to avoid production slow down and errorsEnsure crew’s safetyExecute pipe work in accordance with plans and specificationsFollow directions from site superintendentsRead blueprintsGuide crew with fittings and valve installationsTest systems for leaks and other issuesParticipate in inspectionsKeep a detailed record of all activities performed on a given dayKeep an organized file with all relative job paperworkKeep a daily time log for crewCommunicate with office staff accordinglyModify fixtures and problem solve on the spot accordinglyWork occasional nights and weekends (Saturday’s)Possess 15-20 years of relative experiencePossess a valid driver’s licenseUnderstand and follow oral and written instructionsBe honest, self-motivated and resourcefulJob Type: Full-timePay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per yearSchedule:10 hour shiftExperience:LEAD FOREMAN: 5 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
