Job Description : Title: District Store CoordinatorThe District Store Coordinator reports to the District Manager is responsible for finding and developing SecureSpace talent by hiring, training, and coaching team members while helping them meet regional goals such as sales estimates and revenue projections. He/she will be working directly with the store teams, providing guidance and leadership to team members with all aspects of store operations. The District Store Coordinator will work mostly in our stores, leading by example, and to help provide the highest level of customer service to SecureSpace patrons.Key Responsibilities (but are not limited to):Assists in recruiting, training, coaching and disciplining store managers and assistant store managersEnsures operational efficiency in each storeEngages customers in a positive and professional manner and assists with customer retentionEnsures that marketing efforts are consistent across each store in the regionAssists with setting regional goals such as sales estimates and revenue projectionsCoordinate budgets and marketing efforts to maximize opportunities in each storeEnsures that the stores under their supervision adhere to company and industry regulationsEnsures that all stores meet safety and cleanliness standardsManages a regional budget and ensuring that each store operates within the budgetMonitors each store’s P&L reports and key performance indicators/metricsAddresses operational problems that ariseAct as the liaison between individual stores and regional leadershipTravels to store locations for training and follow up, to cover for team members’ time off, or to launch and transition a new storeEnsures that customer service levels are consistent across storesRecognizes potential maintenance issues, safety hazards and make recommendations accordinglyOther duties as assignedRequirements: · 3+ years of self-storage store manager or self-storage multi-store oversight experience· High school diploma/GED preferred· Must be able to remain in a stationary position for required travel via car and/or airplane (mostly for travel within the designated area, likely the Western portion of the US).· Will need to move about inside the leasing office to access and operate computers and other office equipment.· Ability to lift more than 30 lbs.Quantitative aptitude and experience managing budgets.Leadership and decision-making ability.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Exceptional interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication.· Analytical mindset and problem-solving skill.· Customer service oriented and approachable with the ability to anticipate and respond to the needs of our patrons· Travel is required for this role (up to about 50-60% of the time)· Some weekend work may be required, depending on the business needsSecureSpace provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training.SecureSpace complies with federal and state disability laws and makes reasonable accommodations for applicants and employees with disabilities.
