Job Description : *Please note the specific applications instructions listed at the bottom of this ad.Title: Personal Assistant (p/t)Position: A Seattle (Madison Park area) couple seek a Personal Assistant to handle a variety of personal administrative, household, and task/errand-running needs. They have a primary residence, as well as a near-by rental property that occasionally requires tending to.There is flexibility with when the work could be done, but will likely require 10-12 hours/week and a mostly set schedule once hired.This is a fairly newly created position, so likely there will be an evolution to the role over time. For now, the focus will be on the following:· Errands (grocery shopping, post office runs, returns, car appointments, etc) Note: you must have a car; you will be reimbursed for mileage.· Online purchasing· Vendor management – schedule and oversee household vendors while they work on-site· Monitoring home when owners are away· Establish and adhere to maintenance schedules – heating, plumbing, window washing, cleaning, repairs, etc· Cooking/meal prep (ideal, but not required)· Dog walking, dog care (may include vet appts)· Computer/tech work, such as organizing electronic files, responding to emails, device troubleshooting· Event assistance/organizing – help plan, collect RSVPs, set up, clean up, etc.· Research – trip planning, vendor research, etc.· May involve coordination with others (cleaners, vendors), but not management of others· Many other small projects, as assignedRequirements: · You have experience in a similar role for at least one individual or family for a year or more. References will be called.· Have your own vehicle· Be tech-savvy (employers use both Apple and PC)· Must be comfortable with dogs· You are seeking a long-term position and can commit to a schedule that will not need to be changed drastically over time· Must have own vehicle and willingness to work on-site· Punctual and efficient· Organized and self-motivated (employer will usually not be around when you are doing your work)· Discreet and confidential about your workWorkday: · Hours worked will typically be on-site (in and around Madison Park area), during business hours.· The hours worked are flexible, and can be arranged around your schedule, though once established, will remain the same week-to-weekPay: · Hourly rate, DOEAdditional information· Candidate must pass an extensive background check.· Professional references will be called· Candidate will be required to sign a Non Disclosure/ Confidentiality Agreement.To apply, please answer the following questions, and include your resume: 1.
