The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Power Plant Operator to join the team in one of the following locations: Auburn, WA; Everett, WA; Puyallup, WA; Renton, WA; Seattle, WA or Tukwila, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Operate boilers, and may operate engines and boiler associated auxiliary equipment
Read gauges, meters, and charts to track boiler operations
Monitor boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels
Activate valves to change the amount of water, air, and fuel in boilers
Fire coal furnaces or feed boilers, using gas feeds or oil pumps
Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure that it is operating efficiently
Check safety devices and perform environmental checks routinely
Record data and keep logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activity
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options .
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
1+ years of experience with Boiler Operations
City of Seattle Steam Engineer’s License Grade 1 or Grade 2
Valid state driver’s license
Must complete Fall Protection Training
Relocation:
