Job Description : Apex Spine Institute is looking for a qualified Medical Billing Specialist for our Spine and Pain clinic. This practice is a private, single location practice with 6 providers.Duties include:*Works directly with the insurance companies, providers and patients for complete and accurate claims submissionConsistently reviews unpaid and denied claimsReviews paid claims for accurate reimbursementAnswers patients’ billing questionsProcesses refund requests in a timely mannerPosts payments and/or denials from insurance remitsMakes sure claim has correct CPT codeAssists other billers in the department with their job functionsOther projects and duties as assignedQualifications:1-2 experience medical billingExperience in credentialing facilitiesEducation commensurate with positionJob Type: Full-timePay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Health insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Medical Billing: 1 year (Required)Work Location: One location
