Job Description : NOW OFFERING A HIRING BONUS OF $2,000!PNB is seeking an individual to take on a Forklift Operator role within theWarehouse Department. This position is responsible for unloading transport trucks, storing product in designated areas, loading empty pallets and plastic storage flats/ shells for the transport truck to return to the manufacturing location, loading pre- made and multi-product pallets on local delivery trucks. May have light housekeeping duties. Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test or currently possess Forklift Driving CertificatePRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: Operate a forklift in a safe and orderly mannerReceive and store incoming items according to established systemMaintain a safe and orderly storage arrangement for all items handledMaintain cleanliness in assigned area (e.g. yard and warehouse)Handle and loading of bulk trucks promptlySort and store partial cases of product returned on route trucksMaintain records of daily check list (pre-trip inspections)JOB ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 18 years or olderPass the Pre-Employment Drug Test and background checkPass the validated Selection TestHigh School Diploma or GEDExperience working with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) including, wearing proper protective equipment, practicing personal hygiene, or obeying safety practices.Must be able to lift and carry between 20-45 pounds repeatedly over 10-12 hour work periodMust be able to lift, carry, reach, pull, push, bend, climb, walk/stand throughout the warehouse throughout a 10-12 hour work periodWorking in a high-speed manufacturing environment (for example, team- oriented, deadline driven, high performance demands, or fast paced)Driving a forklift (for example, performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, or maneuvering in tight areas without damaging products, etc)Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (for example, pulling and placing palettes on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks and maximizing storage by stacking products vertically)Experience with standards of operation (OSHA requirements on minimum/maximum speeds, signaling, putting product in appropriate areaPNB is dedicated to the policy of equality of employment opportunity for all its employees without regard to their race, color, religion, gender, age, disability, national origin, sexual orientation or any other category protected by law.
