Job Description : Laboratory TechnicianOlympic Scientific is seeking to fill a position for a Laboratory Technician. This individual will work with the supervisors, and other laboratory staff to aid in specimen testing, processing, reporting and quality assurance.Job Responsibilities:Strong attention to detail to ensure samples and testing are accurately representedPerform a variety testing following lab proceduresPreparation of media used in analysis of samplesFollow lab procedures for specimen handling, test analysis, reporting, and maintaining records of test resultsPrepare reagentsRead and understand technical specificationsComplete other tasks as needed, for laboratory operationsSupport ongoing laboratory compliancePromote a positive work environment while supporting management and business goalsHours: 7:30-4pm, Monday-FridayJob Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour DOEBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Lab experience (academic or professional): 0-2 yearStrong preferences given for candidates with:Completed chemistry courses or degreeLab experience: 1+ year (Preferred)Science background in chemistryPrevious laboratory experienceExcellent time management and organizationManual dexterity to handle various laboratory instruments and perform laboratory procedures with care.Work Location: One location, small lab work settingJob Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:We are following the state and federal guidelines.
