Position Responsibilities:
Communicate supplier performance expectations and utilize systems and metrics to evaluate and monitor demand schedules and supplier quality and delivery performance.
Analyze and track supplier Key Performance Indicators to provide input on risks.
Assist in supplier improvement activities.
Develop strong relationships with suppliers, customers, internal stakeholders, and peers, including the ability to gain rapport and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Document and participate in implementation of lean improvements.
Lead cross functional teams to manage risk-mitigation strategies in support of Program objectives
Facilitate cross-functional discussions regarding technical approaches, products and processes.
Review procurement/planning schedules to verify accuracy
Act as Liaison between Supplier and Boeing
Manage suppliers to the negotiated contractual documents.
Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management.
Manage supplier readiness for entry into service and published production rates.
Manage quality/rework, work with supplier on corrective action plans where needed.
Initiate and execute supplier recovery and improvement activities.
Integrate with production, quality, engineering, in-service, and other key stakeholders to resolve issues impacting production or fleet.
