Job Description : Position: SchedulerCare Center: Imaging CenterLocation: EverettThe Western Washington Medical Group Imaging Center is seeking a part-time scheduler to join our team. Minorities, women, disabled persons, and veterans are encouraged to apply.Job Summary: Ideal candidate is comfortable working in a busy center, assisting patients with scheduling and preparing for imaging exams, and working with a team to ensure the best patient experience possible. Candidate should enjoy learning new things, be able to work independently, ask questions when needed, and apply new knowledge.This shift is for Thursday and Friday with no weekends and no on-call. Additional per-diem hours may be available.Essential Functions: · Provide compassionate care while making outgoing scheduling calls for imaging exams.· Screen patients for scanner safety, provide accurate preparation instructions and check-in times.· Answer phones with exceptional customer service; route calls and messages appropriately.· Communicate respectfully with referring offices to request lab orders if needed.· May be asked to assist front-desk with patient check-in.· Input patient registration, insurance, and referring providers for external orders.· Take appropriate and timely action in responding to questions from patients.Job Requirements: · Minimum of one year of medical office experience with previous EMR experience preferred.· Familiarity with human anatomy.· Medical Terminology· Excellent time management skills.· Ability to work independently.· Attention to detail.· Exceptional customer service skills.· Must be able to communicate clearly on the phone and in-person.· Must be able to sit at a desk and computer for extended periods.· Must be able to work well within a team, collaborate with co-workers, radiologists, patients, and referring physicians while maintaining a caring and positive attitude.Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftNo weekendsCOVID-19 considerations:All patients are required to wear a mask.
