Job Description : This role requires expertise in all facets of digital media production and requires someone who is highly-dependable with strong communication skills and an impeccable attention to detail. The producer is the primary point of contact with outside production partners who are delivering various media-related components in support of broader Toolhouse projects.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with the creative team to define project requirements and digital media needsSource new production partners or contractors to support the creation of digital media components (this includes photographers, designers, copywriters, illustrators, animators, voice talent, audio editors, video crews, video editors etc.)Maintain productive relationships with existing creative partners/vendors, obtain quotes for services, and coordinate availability with internal project management, resourcing and estimating teamsOversee production of all partner-produced digital media components (photography, illustration, video, and audio etc.)Coordinate logistics: production schedules, shot lists, crews, studios, permits, proof of insurance, talent etc.Attend photo shoots, video shoots, and recording sessions to support production efforts when requiredObtain required releases from all photo/video/audio subjects, talent and stock agenciesMonitor post-production process and outputsCommunicate direction from the creative team and coordinate quality control to ensure partner-supplied media components align with expectations.Work with production partners to ensure technical standards for media projects are communicated, file organization and file naming standards are upheld, and source files properly archived at project closeStay abreast of industry best practices related to creation of digital mediaAssist in ongoing workflow improvements, including tools recommendations, process implementation, and cross-department education on best practicesOccasionally assist with screening during the hiring process for new creative team membersSkills Knowledge and Expertise5 plus years experience working as a Digital Producer within a design studio, digital advertising group, advertising agency, production house, or client-side design groupA body of work that demonstrates a strong track record of high-quality outputs across various digital media components (i.e. web, streaming video, photography, podcasts, animation etc.)In-depth understanding of digital production processes and techniques–from ideation, to capture, and post-production (hands on experience with basic audio and video editing is a massive plus)Ability to inspire, support and understand the interplay between people, processes and systemsProven ability to self-manage and stay on top of details across multiple, concurrent projects (must be methodical and highly-organized)Strong communication skills (internal and external audiences)Familiarity with documentary-style film production and behind-the-camera interviewing is desired, but not requiredDemonstrated ability for continuous learning in the field of digital marketing and digital media productionAbout Toolhouse, Inc.Toolhouse is fundamentally changing how leading life science companies use technology to build meaningful connections with patients and physicians.Healthcare marketing is changing, and customer expectations have evolved.
