Position : PPW Patient Services Coordinator

Job Description : A dream job helping women rebuilding their lives!Looking for a women who manages the nuts and bolts of a residential treatment program for pregnant women and mothers with children up to age 5 who are establishing recovery and developing parenting skills. The Residential Patients Services Coordinator must have some knowledgeable about addiction and recovery (can be lived experience), with sufficient maturity and leadership to oversee the 24-hour milieu that the moms and children live in. Some coursework in substance use disorder counseling highly desirable!You interact daily with residents, new babies and adorable little children as well as provide general support for the clinical and management staff.You will train and manage a staff of 8-12 who manage the non-counseling aspects of the treatment milieu and take pride in assuring a safe, healthy and professional environment that supports the clinical goals of the intensive treatment program.You will be part of a stimulating team of mental health and substance use disorder counselors, infant mental health specialists, health care professionals and a phenomenal day care staff while you experience the transformation of women and families.Minimum Qualifications: BA degree in Human Services or related field. Experience in addiction treatment or outreach may be substituted year for year for a BA degree.Experience working with chemically dependent persons, preferably with pregnant and parenting women,Teaching, training or counseling experience an asset.Strong people skills, able to exercise independent judgment and initiative consistent with agency policies, procedures and practices.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health care record entry and able to teach staff entering case notes.As a health care facility, our employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including boosters.Must be able to pass a stringent background check by the Department of Children Youth and Families, no history of crimes against persons, and no recent drug crimes (at least 3 year free from any offenses).
