Angela’s Family Services hopes to bring caring family time monitors together with families so parents have the highest chance at successful visits.As a Family Time Monitor, we are critical in the role of reunification of families currently in the foster care system. Maintaining the contact between the parents, children, and siblings is an important factor in keeping families connected. We would work closely with DCYF who is dedicated to the social, emotional, and physical well-being of children, youth, and families regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or other socioeconomic factors to make sure family time visitation is a positive environment free of judgement and stereotypes. Our primary goal is to make sure children remain physically and emotionally safe during family time.AFS is sub-contracting agency not an employee-based agency. We like this model because it allows you the flexibility to make your own schedule and choose which cases your comfortable taking. You have choices, those choices allow you the flexibility in your personal and home life. We are a team that is collaborative, supportive, who works together to best support the families we work with. While you learn and grow in this career you will have people of diverse backgrounds that can show you multiple different ways of doing things so you can learn what works best for you. Including what it means to be a sub-contractor. Many of those that join our industry as sub-contractors have never been sub-contractors before but find they prefer it.
