Job Description : Protime Sports is a Seattle-based sports apparel company that specializes in custom apparel printing for customers nationwide.We have 2 immediate openings for Graphic Designer positions. We offer full time employment year round and overtime during our high production seasons.The ideal candidate is ready to hit the ground running, ready to learn quickly and punches shortcut keys on the keyboard like they are playing the piano.Position details: -This position revolves around knowledge and production in Adobe Illustrator. (Must know Pen tool, shortcut keys, production ready artwork, pathfinder palette, etc.)-If you are only Photoshop based, this is not the position for you.-This is a high-production position. Requires speed, efficiency and sense of urgency.-We have Roland Versacamm printer/cutters for full color heat transfers.-We use Roland Cutter/Plotters.-We operate and maintain Epson large format dye sublimation printers. We set files up and print the files, load the paper and fill the ink.-We are production based so a lot of quality control is involved. Must be able to pick up our process, learn what is needed, soak it all up and master it on the fly.-We are a PC based business. Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook knowledge preferred.-Ability to work a shift between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, and sometimes Saturdays.-Overtime required during our busy seasons.The successful candidate: The ability to work independently, but can immediately jump in to help the team as a whole.Someone that doesn’t like being bored and wants to jump in and help. Someone who is naturally curious and wants to learn all we have to offer.Must have exceptional attention to detail.Communicate effectively. If a problem arises or if you do not understand a process then bring it to our attention immediately. And if you make a mistake, own it, fix it and move on.Intermediate level knowledge of PCs.Able to lift 50+ lbs and not afraid to get your hands dirty (or inky).***This position is strictly a Production Designer role. It is not a creative role.
